Food for Thought - What does it mean when people say "you look great together"?

Here an answer may lie if you dare: http://ask.metafilter.com/115542/What-do-people-mean-when-they-say-to-a-couple-You-look-good-together

I got a 90 on the ASVAB

and I got offered a job in Nuclear Operations for the Navy. I am really happy that I can actually make a career out of this, but at the same time... Should I do it? There is the potential of making 6 figures a year in the later years and living off of pension checks for the rest of my life, but it isn't about the money. At the same time, it's a lot of schooling and missing out on friends and family. I don't like my job of downstocking so much if I'm being completely honest. And you get to travel if you want. Paid vacations and such.

NotSoLuckyGaming   4 months ago The best way in getting rid of nuclear waste is just to reuse Reply   ·   9   Hide replies  Max Green (Eclipse)   4 months ago +NotSoLuckyGaming That's right, burn it in an IFR or LFTR! Reply   ·   1   NotSoLuckyGaming   4 months ago +Max Green  no reuse it in nuclear power plants Reply   ·   Max Green (Eclipse)   4 months ago That's what I meant! Fission it in an Integral Fast Reactor or LFTR. Today's American nuclear waste = 1,500 years of energy for them, and the UK has 500 years.
