I disagree with this!! People need to dig deeper, learn proper coding concepts, coding best practices, language syntax and all the so called "BACK END STUFF" in order to understand what they are producing.. "One can't simply click and drag and then call them-self a developer/programmer"... Question: do you understand what you're doing? If something doesn't work do you know why? Relying too much on cutting and pasting solutions from stack overflow doesn't cut it either. Roll up your sleeves, get some elbow grease and learn the language "Dig Deeper" . Yes it will take you a long time but once you know you know. Learn Python, PHP, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL e.t.c the choice is yours but dive deep and gain a better understanding of what the hell is going on.

I agree, to an extent. I am working on a game right now, and I got information from Stack Overflow, YouTube, and eBooks. Many many programmers ask other programmers how to do something if they can't figure it out themselves. I know a ton of programmers and developers, and they get help from people all of the time. They don't automatically know how to do something, and do it ALL themselves. But I do agree. If you want to do something right, do it yourself (mostly).

+Sipho Mkhwanazi I agree with you if you want to become a "programmer". I think he's just trying to learn to "code". It's a bit different, but I think you know what I'm getting at.

+Sipho Mkhwanazi That depends on if you want to be a programmer or a computer engineer. It is a whole different salary range. The programmer doesn't need to know how everything works, he just needs to know how to program for the current day. The engineer however, is more like what you seem to vouch for and yes they do get paid more, but it's not for everybody.

+Sipho Mkhwanazi you said it all, can you teach me or give a clue where to learn basics
Sipho Mkhwanazi
+Samuel Okoyeocha Well you can buy e-books online now if you're really serious about wanting to learn. Here are a few good online resources to check: Home and learn (Personal Favorite)-> http://www.homeandlearn.co.uk/ CodeCademy -> https://www.codecademy.com/ CodeSchool -> https://www.codeschool.com/ TreeHouse -> https://teamtreehouse.com/
