Also, environmental as far as how your parents talked to you (nurturing & encouraging vs. critical & judgmental). This can cause negative self talk which leads to low-self esteem & low self-worth.

anything could be a contributing factor to the way you feel on a certain daym i dont think self esteem is a constant thing, I think it fluctuates depending on the consistent personality you have compared to the type of day youre having and how other people treat you. but basically in the end, you control how you react to life but if you have a chemical imbalance, the ability to stay positive is difficult. also being low on certain vitamins and minerals can contribute to how you feel as well.
