10 Signs That The First Date Should Be The Last

If you’re lucky, your first date with someone will be fun and relaxed and lead to second, third, fourth dates, and so on. Unfortunately it doesn’t always work out that way. Here are 10 signs that you shouldn’t see them again:

1.    Nothing to talk about. If you can’t find anything to talk about on the first date you probably aren’t going to have much to say on a second or third date, or throughout the relationship.

2.    Dead end conversations. You might have lots of conversation topics come up on the date but if they are dead-ends that don’t go anywhere, maybe you just can’t communicate together.

3.    Disagree on major values. If you discover that you have very different viewpoints on issues or values that are important to you, don’t waste your time going out again. You won’t be able to sustain a relationship in the long run if you don’t agree on your values, so don’t waste your time.

4.    Bad manners. If they are rude and have bad manners then definitely don’t see them again. If they can’t even make an effort on your first date, imagine how they’ll be once they’re comfortable in a relationship.

5.    They come on too strong. You shouldn’t feel pressured into anything on the first date. If they come on too strong take it as a sign that they don’t want to wait and get to know you.

6.    They won’t stop talking about their ex. This is a major red flag that they aren’t over their past relationship so don’t bother wasting any more time with them. Going out again is just going to be a waste of your energy and emotions.

7.    They have no ambition. If they have nothing going on in their life with no goals or ambitions, you’ll probably get bored pretty quickly. It’s not worth pursing a relationship with someone that you don’t respect.

8.    They are negative. If they complain about everything and don’t have anything positive to say then steer clear of seeing them again. Their bad attitude is only going to bring you down so don’t waste your time.

9.    They’re a snob. If you picked up on an arrogant attitude on your first date it’s only going to get worse and drive you crazy. You’ll be sure to be annoyed if you go out with them again.

10. They’re a whiner. If they can’t roll with the punches and focus on having a good time on your first date, it’s only going to go downhill from there. Even if things don’t go perfectly on the date, you should be with someone who can rise above it and still have fun instead of whining about it
