Long Response that some Guy told a Cute Girl
I could not help but to stare at your status earlier.
I absolutely despise cardio because it takes way too freaking long to get the results. Personally I prefer lifting weights because it gives the after burn affect; meaning that you burn fat when you REST instead of during the actual workout.
When I try to trim down and get defined there is one key thing that will affect the amount of body fat I will lose: METABOLISM RATE.
Fast Metabolism = Burn fat like no tomorrow
Slow Metabolism = Store more energy as fat
How do I gain a fast metabolism?
Simple:
1. Eat more greens but also maintain the right amount of protein as well.
(So an italian salad with chicken breasts to the side will do just fine for Lunch)
Here's my meal plan:
Breakfast: Eggs and Vegetables w/BROWN rice
Lunch: ALWAYS Salad with chicken
Dinner: Soup with more greens and small amounts of Meat
2. Lift Weights (this will create the after-burn effect)
Myth: You'll get huge like me
Fact: You won't get huge like me because you were not genetically built to be bulky. However what will happen is that you will get more toned than me.
KEY: LOW WEIGHTS + HIGH REPS = Maximum After Burn Effect
Keep in mind that fat first burns in various places, so your belly fat won't be the first thing that your body will burn.
Ex: You know how you notice someone losing weight? It's based off of their facial features. It typically begins in the face first then moves to the rest of the body.
What I do: I do HANG CLEANS because it uses multiple muscle groups and therefore maximizing the after burn effect EVERYWHERE ON MY BODY.
Basically the more muscles groups you use at once in high reps, the greater the results/ after burn effect.
3. REST
Probably just as important as working out. You have to rest at least 24-48 hours depending on the exercise you have done and how well your body can regenerate the tears in your muscles after working out.
Your resting period is the also the period where your body burns the fat. DO NOT EAT TOO MUCH AFTER YOU WORKOUT!!!!!
Since your metabolism will be trying to get more nutrients to regenerate your body after a workout, it will go and look for the energy it needs to heal the muscles. But since you have eaten a little bit after your workout, the fat stored in your body will be used as energy instead. Therefore your body fat percentage will decrease.
4. Stay Dedicated.
This is the hardest part of losing weight. Your body is not going to like the adjustment but you have to maintain a good diet and exercise routine if you want the results.
Stay committed and I promise you, you will get that foxy look! Hahahahaha
Hope this helps.
