How Many Questions Can I Omit on the SAT?

QuestionI'm taking the SAT tomorrow and I'm wondering about how many questions can I omit in each section and still get a good score?
any tips....?
Answer: You can omit any number of questions that you want - you could not answer any if you chose. Of course, if that is the case, your score will not be good. The higher the score you are shooting for, the more you should attempt, however, if you don't know the answer and cannot even guess, then don't answer. Even if you can only eliminate one, guessing is a good option, but don't just randomly fill in answers if you don't understand the question at all. No answer means 0 points, and a wrong answer means -0.25 points, so keep that in mind. I got a 2110 my first time through, and I omitted a total of 8 answers, and then the next time I felt confident and decided to omit none and just fill in all of them regardless of if I knew them or not, and I dropped 200 points.

My SAT Prep book has this good table too. Depending on what you are shooting for for each section (out of 800), you need to determine how many you need to be answering, and how many you need to be getting right at that rate. Here it is copied below:
GOAL - ATTACK - ANSWER CORRECTLY
500 - 75% - 50%
550 - 80% - 60%
600 - 85% - 67%
650 - 90% - 80%
700 - 100% - 90%
750 - 100% - 95%
800 - 100% - 100%
